A word to the wise: Do not try to be cool and put a candle out with your fingers if you have no clue what you're doing. Because you think it'll turn out something like this:
But in reality, you'll end up burning off an entire fingernail and spending an hour whining and nursing your injured pride.
Fun fact: fingernails are very, VERY flammable.
Don't try this with incense either. You may smell nice afterwards but it also hurts and it's just not worth it.
